Panel Discussion: "The Middle East: New Geopolitical Realities"

The Center for Conflict Research and the International Relations Research Student Association (IRRSA) are delighted to invite you to a panel discussion “The Middle East: New Geopolitical Realities”, scheduled for February 8, 2024 (Thursday) at 4:00 PM in the Grand Conference Hall at the University of National and World Economy.

Our distinguished guest speakers for the event will be:

  • Dr Mohamed Khalaf, journalist and lecturer at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”;
  • Dr Dimitar Mihaylov, former ambassador to Syria, Israel, and Jordan, an Arabist and Hebraist, and honored lecturer in “Hebraistics” at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”;
  • Dimitar Katsarkov, Hebraist and international analyst.

The event aims to present the history of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, fostering a deeper understanding of the complex geopolitical landscape in the region.
