Dr. Dalbir Ahlawat is a Senior Lecturer in Security Studies at Macquarie University, Sydney, and an Emeritus Professor at the National Forensic Sciences University, India. He holds a PhD in International Relations and specializes in geopolitics, geostrategy, transnational security, and border security and migration. Dr. Ahlawat has worked with the Australian federal government, led multiple funded research projects, and authored five books and over 40 scholarly papers.
