Vladimir Shopov is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has specialized at the universities of Oxford, London, California, Beijing, and at the New School for Social Research, New York. He was an adviser on European affairs to the Minister of the Interior (1997-1998), an adviser to the Mission of Bulgaria to the EU (1998-2001), and an adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2014-2016).
