Our Mission

The Center for Conflict Research is an independent, nonpartisan, and not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the understanding of conflicts around the world.

Our mission is to conduct objective, in-depth research and analysis, covering a wide range of domains, such as security, geopolitics, economics, and more. Our authors offer diverse thought, experience, and personal backgrounds and are guided by principles of quality and independence.

Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov

Executive Director

Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Business at the University of National and World Economy Sofia, where he has been a lecturer since 2012. With expertise in Enterprise Economics and Conflict Studies, Dr. Ivanov holds a PhD in Economics and Management, specializing in Strategic Management in Defence and Security, since 2010.

Dr. Ivanov has served as an expert at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as a leading expert in the largest non-banking financial institution in the country. He is also a certified mediator and a trainer in mediation certification courses. Dr. Ivanov now consults in the field of conflict management and resolution, providing valuable expertise to organizations across a variety of industries to develop effective conflict resolution strategies.
